Shugga is one of
Toronto’s best known funk and R&B cover
bands. With a residence at one of TO’s finest
live music venues, Joe Mammas, Shugga has a
packed house every Friday and Saturday night
for the last 5 years. Shugga is a collective
of Canada’s top musicians and singers
including members of Nelly Furtado’s band,
Thornlea, Esthero, Jully Black and vocalists
such as Divine Brown, Alana Bridgewater (We
Will Rock You), Chris Rouse, and Mike
Ferfolia. With an impressive repertoire Shugga
can entertain a very eclectic crowd.
