ADONIS ENSEMBLE

A dynamic blend of elegance, virtuosity and artistic passion, the Adonis Ensemble promises to create a unique ambience and a charming appearance at your special occasions. While its three members – harpist Andrew Chan, violinist Alex Cheung, and violist Peter Ing — all have deep roots in classical music, their vast experience in performing liturgical, pop, folk, rock, jazz and Celtic music would offer a wide variety of musical style to suit every taste and need. When these musicians gather, be enchanted by their world of sound!

ANDREW CHAN – HARP

Both as a soloist and orchestral harpist, Andrew has performed across the country and in the US. Recently, he has recorded and toured with the international artist Dr Draw on the electric harp and achieved much popular success.

ALEX CHEUNG – VIOLIN

A classically trained violinist, Alex ventured into the folk, pop and rock worlds and has performed at the renowned Montreal Jazz Festival and the Canadian Country Music Awards Showcase. He performs regularly with Celtic bands and has extensive experience in music for various wedding ceremonies.

PETER ING – VIOLA

A chamber musician, Peter has performed in prestigious festivals across North America and Europe, including the Kent Blossom Music Festival, Colorado String Quartet Festival in Cape Cod, and the Casalmaggiore International Music Festival in Italy. He holds a Master's Degree in Viola Performance from the University of British Columbia.
