Shugga is one of Toronto's best known and most in demand funk and R&B cover bands. With a residences at two of Toronto's finest live music venues, Joe Mammas and Bar Itlaia, Shugga has a packed house every Friday and Saturday night for the last 10 years. Shugga is a tightly knit unit of Canada's top musicians and singers including members of Nelly Furtado's band, Thornley, Bedouin Soundclash, Johnny Reid, Esthero, Jully Black and vocalists such as Divine Brown, Alana Bridgewater (We Will Rock You), Janelle Monique, and dynamic front man and lead singer Mike Ferfolia.
