Lead Event Planner - ArthurK has a long history of being involved in the events industry As one of the founding members of the Juno Nominated band God Made Me Funky, ArthurK has been attending weddings and events regularly since the age of 17. Having worked with some of the best suppliers, vendors, venues, and event planners in the country ArthurK quickly learned what works and what doesn't when it comes to event planning. With a keen eye for detail, the ability to lead a large team of vendors, and his perfectionist personality, ArthurK is making a name for himself as one Toronto's most up and coming wedding and event planners. ArhturK is certified as a wedding coordinator and consultant through the Wedding Planners institute of Canada.
Melissa Sobotka, WPICC - Wedding Coordiantor/Consultant
Melissa has a Bachelor of Commerce(honours) Degree from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. During her time as a student she fell in love with planning events as the social chair of a local sorority.
Just before completing university she began to plan her own wedding and realized it was even more fulfilling than event planning and decided that taking the WPIC course was a great way to start on that path. Working for Fusion Events has given Melissa the outlet she was looking for being able to work with Wedding clients and helping them realize their dreams.
Dana Mattar, WPICC - Wedding Coordinator/Consultant
Wedding Co-Ordinator/Consultant - Originally half Saudi Arabian and half Lebanese. Dana was born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and at the age of 14 moved to Dubai, UAE. In Dubai, she completed high school and attended her first two years of university. At the same time she worked as a television host hosting a 2 hour daily Live show.
In January 2010 Dana moved to Toronto and attended George Brown College, where she studied Hospitality and Tourism. In May 2011, Dana decided to make her dreams of one day becoming a wedding planner a reality, which led her to enroll in, and successfully graduate from The Wedding Planning Institute of Canada.
For Dana it is an honour and privilege to make couple's dreams come true on what is surely one of the most important days of their lives.
