TORONTO STRING QUARTET
McMaster Strings is a Toronto String Quartet comprised of a collective of professional classical musicians that specialize in Wedding Ceremonies and Private Events in the Toronto, Ontario region, but have collectively played across the globe. The group can consist of a Violin and Cello, or Violin, Viola, and Cello or the classic Toronto string quartet which consist of 2 Violins, Viola, and Cello. All instruments are also available in a solo format as well.

About Alex McMaster
Band Leader
Since her graduation from the University of Toronto with an Honours B.A. in Music, Alex McMaster has been very active as a performer in the Toronto music scene.
Her string trio/quartet plays regularly at weddings and corporate functions, as well as on numerous studio recordings. Most notable among these was a recording of the song “Calling all Angels” by Jane Siberry, which appeared in the film “Pay it Forward”.
Alex also performs with, and does string arrangements for the group Classic Albums Live, including an orchestral arrangement of the Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper” album which has been performed 3 times with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra
