Toronto Wedding Planners Review – REAL WEDDINGS – Erin and Aaron
Erin + Aaron – Sep 15’12 – The Berkeley Church
Erin and Aaron originally came to Fusion Events looking for a great Wedding Band. After proposing a few ideas and taking them to see a few bands they fell in love with God Made Me Funky band and booked them for their wedding at The Berkeley Church (One of our favourite Downtown Toronto Wedding Venues). After having a few meetings with them to discuss the music and entertainment it became apparent that they were in need of some help to plan the wedding and hired us on to execute their vision. The theme of the wedding was a modern, vintage inspired fete with a graphite and pale pink colour palette.
It was a beautiful day on Sept 15, 2012. After the ceremony at the St Basil’s Church, the couple and their bridal party hopped on a double decker bus and then rode in style to the venue while taking pictures along the way. Erin and Aaron’s wedding reception was full of small personal touches, from hand made napkin rings made of pearls, table numbers consisted of couple’s pictures, customized drink menus to candle holders decorated with lace, and custom made gift box covered with pics of the Bride and Groom. It was truly a pleasure to work with Erin and Aaron, they are a fun, modern, artistic, and tech savvy couple(in other words our ideal couple!!).
We love working at the Church on Berkeley. Built in 1871, The Berkeley Church is one of Toronto’s most original venues. Hard wood floors, stained glass windows and Victorian styled bar offers a perfect space for a rustic modern wedding. The large stage with rustic brick background is an excellent feature for live entertainment and bands. There are about a million nooks and crannies to take pictures which is a great feature. The staff are pleasant and customer service oriented. It was an amazingly fun night with a packed dance floor thanks to God Made Me Funky and DJ EFSHARP.
We were fortunate to work with awesome vendors including, Pink Twig (florals), Ben Benvie (Photography), WeDo (Video), and of course Fusion Events (Design, Entertainment and Production).
